Our Affiliation

Redeemer is a local congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA – for more information please see (www.pcanet.org).  The PCA was formed as a denomination in 1973 when 260 congregations left the mainline Presbyterian Church (USA) because of doctrinal liberalism and moral laxity.  Since its inception, the PCA has grown to include over 1500 evangelical congregations in the US and Canada, as well as a worldwide missionary enterprise.

Our Local Body

At Redeemer you will find a church in a period of development.  The church came into existence in October 1998 as a small group of believers began meeting to pray and to plan for a Reformed church (see “What do we believe”) in Cambridge.  Redeemer occupied our historic, beautiful sanctuary on Easter Sunday, 2000.  Redeemer is still a small congregation, but draws people from Cambridge, Easton, Hurlock, and Salisbury.
